With Locks of Love

LADIYO presents With Locks of Love, a game about hair donation. The goal of the game is to collect as many locks of hair as possible to donate them to the residents of the tower. Rapunzel is waiting for you! But beware of the obstacles, hitting the underside of a window will surely make you fall!

As you climb up on Rapunzel’s tower, your hair will grow continuously and by cutting you hair with the blue scissors you will be able to collect your hair and give it to others in need.
You will be rewarded with points of gratitude!

This game is an entry for the Warmest Game Jam, where we will try to collect as much as possible donations for the Warmste Week! Please enjoy this game and make  a small donation for TEJO!

The theme for the warmest game jam was ‘a good cause’ so we decided to go for ‘hair donation’ as our chosen cause. We incorporated this by making a climbing game where the main character’s hair grows continuously. On the way up, the player will encounter scissors, which can be used to cut the character’s hair and collect locks of hair.

These locks can then be used to donate wigs to the bald characters in the windows. Upon donating, the player is rewarded with happiness points and the goal of the game is to collect as many happiness points as possible and reach the top of the tower.
